Boston may not be a big city, but it makes up for its size with its food options. From lobster rolls to doughnuts, Boston has it all.
No trip to Boston is complete without a stop at the infamous Tatte Bakery. With six locations in Greater Boston, this place will transport you to France with its Parisian elegance. While their pastries, meringues, cookies and cakes are stunningly beautiful and too pretty to eat, their uniquely sourced ingredients add that special flavor to all of their creations. My favorites include the goat cheese fruit tart and the pistachio croissant. Their latte's are pretty spectacular, as well.
Flour Bakery + Cafe
Next up, another Boston bakery that will have you dreaming about their famous sticky buns. Warm, caramel-y, nutty and gooey, they are everything you want for breakfast...and sometimes even lunch or dinner. While you're there, pick up the house made raspberry seltzer, its slightly sweet and refreshing!
I was ecstatic when I learned this next place was coming to Boston. With their first location in the Seaport area and now their second opening in the Fenway, you don't have to be a vegan to appreciate their delicious food. The caesar salad and espresso chocolate chip cookie are some of my favorites. If you're a coconut fan, like me, the coconut water is a must!
Forge Baking Company
And finally, if you venture out of Boston and head towards the Cambridge/Somerville area, Forge Baking Company is a must-go! This spacious eatery not only makes delicious breakfast sandwiches with fresh, house made bread, but it also has an ice parlor attached next door.
